Can I buy Hearing Aid in US for my father in India?

I am in US for one more month. I have a prescribed hearing aid from an Indian Physician for my father living in India. Can I buy that prescribed machine in US without my dad’s presence or my dad has to be there in US to buy that machine?
But I can buy it here and get the fittng back in India. So whats the problem ?

      The person getting it would need your father there.
      The person getting it needs to get hearing aid the person getting it would need your father there.
      The company making it would need your father there.
