Can I still go to nursing school even with hearing aids?

The reason I ask is because, in order to check the heartbeat, you put the (heart beat monitor/whatever its called) into your hear and listen. But I have hearing aids and I wouldn’t be able to do that.

Does this mean I have to find a new career? My hearing is fine, I hear normal with the hearing aids in. So that’s not the issue.
