Has anyone had any experience buying a hearing aid on line ?

I had a hearing test at hospital following an acoustic neuroma surgery which left me with hearing in one ear. That ear is now losing upper speech patterns, and doctors recommending a hearing aid. At reputable hearing centers, hearing aids range from $800 to $3000,(for one) and some require a high consultation fee. The on line centers average around $365 which is a big difference when you have no insurance. Thanks.

This is a serious matter. I have a hearing aid that does not fit. I have special ears that were damaged by a car crash. I went to a reputable clinic and was fitted to one that works nicely. The big problem, I am stuck with the other hearing aid from the internet.
