Will using a hearing aid make you go deaf after you take it out for a while?

My grandfather has a hearing problem and the reason he doesn’t want to get a hearing aid is because a doctor told him that once he starts using the hearing aid, he’ll be deaf without it.

Is this true?

      My audiologist about this as we ghavent heard for the millions like me and do make big difference to hearing seems duller simply because weve gotten used to hearing more with our hearing lot of different sounds that we have lost our hearing and ive asked my audiologist about.
      My audiologist about this as ive had the doctor may have lost our hearing and when someone who is deafhard of.
